The Africana Studies faculty, staff and students are pleased to congratulate Renee Sladja on her election to Phi Beta Kappa. Her selection is a prestigious recognition of her outstanding academic achievement, what the committee judged Renee's "quality of mind, breadth and depth of her general scholarship, as well as her willingness and ability to go above and beyond routine academic pursuits at Barnard."
